It is like 10 degrees here and frickin freezing!!!

I had my friend Ryan in town since last Wednesday and just dropped him off at the airport this morning at 5am.

Plus, my pops is still here. And my roommate Ryan was here this weekend too.

Welcome to the frat house. :)

Anyhow, I am trying to get into the holiday season. I made a magnolia leaf wreath this weekend. I will post pictures soon. I can't decide if I want to paint it gold or not. Any input?

Happy Birthday me! December 15th baby!!!


I wasnt really that into my birthday this year. I really didn't do anything too special either.


I had dinner with my dad, my favorito friend Nat, and two little, cutie Marines.


Then, on the 16th, I went out to the middle of nowhere (read Quanitco, VA) and volunteered with the USO. There were 700 Marine Reserve soldiers coming through on their way to Iraq. The USO had the soldiers bring out a cake and sing happy birthday to me.


I thought that we were all singing to one of the soldiers so I sang along until I saw the cake and it had MY name on it. :)


What a special memory!!

To Do: Decorate

I have been trying to decide how I want to decorate for the Holidays.

I was thinking about gold. then silver. then black and gold.

what about NATURE!!

It reminds me of home in Arizona. :)

BTW, the White House decorated with Red, White, and Blue.
