To Do: Covet

I want this computer case for my macbook.

Steve said...: You can make your own, I have! Well, not as a computer case, but as a hidden storage place! Just take any cool looking book that you don't plan on reading (finding one at a thrift store or library sale is easy), place the laptop on the first page and with a pencil, lightly trace the outline. Then take a razor blade or any sharp knife and cut out the shape. Since you will be carrying a laptop in it, you might also want to look into attaching velcro or other fastening device on the inside of the covers to keep it closed when carrying around. To keep the straps hidden, you can make an additional cut in the pages or just leave enough space in your original cut out for the velcro strap. The whole thing should take about 30 mins, tops, and save you lots of money and make all your friends jealous! ;-); 1/28/2010
