For the record, I have wanted to do this for the longest time, but living so close to the beach makes me want to learn how to stand up paddle-board like ASAP.
I just found out that Camp Pendleton's Marina does $10 rentals! Holla! (But learning this sport in my bathing suit in front of a ton of Marines doesn't excite me.)
I am gonna do it (with his help!)
