My last post...

was pretty vague.

I hate when my friends post about something going on in their life but they just hint at it, and they never tell you what is going on. I read blogs so I don't have to put in any effort into our friendship. I kid. I kid. (Sorta.)

Anyhow, I started to think about how I can expand on my last post. Here is what I came up with:

In the Pursuit of Happiness, the son tells his dad this story about having blind faith. It goes a little something like this...

Hey dad, you wanna hear something funny? There was a man who was drowning, and a boat came, and the man on the boat said "Do you need help?" and the man said
"God will save me". Then another boat came and he tried to help him, but he
said "God will save me", then he drowned and went to Heaven. Then the man
told God, "God, why didn't you save me?" and God said "I sent you two boats,
you dummy!"

The point is that sometimes you have to have faith and sometimes you have to take care of things yourself. So I ask myself... is God sending me boats right now?

Anyhow, I have been thinking about this recently and then I went out to dinner with my friends tonight and my fortune cookie says...

Many possibilities are open to you - work a little harder.

So... maybe I should wait... for one more boat to come my way.

Holly you are very ambitious and hardworking. You have what it takes to do anything your little (big) heart desires! You keep waiting for that boat if there is something that you want. Ultimately, the only way to fail to succeed with your dreams is to give up.

Holly, after I read your post it made me think of a little story that seems appropriate and that I had to help me during some similar times.

The Viking culture is one of discipline, passion and commitment. As an example, when the Vikings would set out on an expedition, they planned to burn the boat upon arriving at their destination. The purpose was that it forced them to plan ahead of time and make a full-commitment upon arrival. In today’s world, we see lots of people (professionals, politicians, academics, etc) suffering from a lack of focus as they sail through life looking at many different islands. Real entrepreneurs act like the Vikings... They aren’t afraid to burn the boats, because they believe in the goal and refuse to be distracted.

Set out on the expeditition and don't be afraid to burn the boat!

You have the ultimate ability to confuse me and amaze me at the same time. I'm not sure what is happening in your life, but I agree with the other comments, you are an amazing person and have the ability to do anything you set your mind through.
I hope that whatever you are waiting for comes through, for you truly deserve happiness.
Love you!
